April Financial Report and FY27 Budget Outlook Presented

Graham, the treasurer, presented the treasure's report for April 2026, indicating that 58% of the fiscal year has elapsed. Expenditures for General Fund, Admin, Police, and Fire are within the 58% target, with General Fund at 52.6%. Ambulance is slightly over but trending well. Streets are at 43.7%, Airport at 13.6%, Cemetery at 47.2%, and Library at 39%. Parks and Recreation, including golf, is at 66.6%, influenced by the Twin Bridges project funded by the Bureau. Water is at 27.2%, Wastewater at 42%, and Sanitation at 54.8%. Bank and investment accounts show Morton investment at $3.7 million, LGIP fund at $13.9 million, Diversified Bond Fund at $3.1 million, Zion sweep account at $9.6 million, and Zion's checking at $5,531.91. The upcoming calendar includes budget finalization for FY27, Transparent Idaho report submission by July 1st, tentative budget proposal for FY27 on July 7th, public hearing for FY27 budget on July 28th, and proposal of FY27 budget ordinance in August. The employer contribution match for Percy will remain stable through FY28.
