The Bourne Canalman girls lacrosse team's season concluded with a loss in the round of 32 against Sandwich, the number one seed in Division 4. The final score was 21-1. The team finished with a 6-14 overall record. Despite the loss, the season was considered successful as they won their first state tournament game in four seasons and appeared in the tournament for the first time in three seasons. They are set to return almost their entire core for the next season, with only one senior, McKinley Scully, graduating.

Bourne Boys Lacrosse Reaches Elite 8 for First Time in 19 Years

The Bourne Canalman boys lacrosse team advanced to the Elite 8 of the Division 4 state tournament by defeating the Hamilton Wenham Generals 9-7 in a Sweet 16 matchup. This marks the program's first Elite 8 appearance since the 2006-2007 season and the first for the current Mashpee players. Senior captain Jack Belffor led the team with a hat-trick, bringing his season total to 62 goals. Charlie Sites and Tai Hawks scored two goals each, while Shawn Kelly and Brady Banks each contributed one goal. Nolan Scoffield made nine saves on 16 shots. The team, which co-ops with Mashpee High School, has shown significant improvement in depth compared to previous seasons.

The Bourne Canalman girls tennis team finished their season with a 4-1 loss at home to an undefeated Lennox Memorial High School team in the Sweet 16 round. This season marked the first time since 2022 that the girls tennis team achieved a double-digit win season (11 wins in 2022) and the most wins since 2017 (13 wins). While five seniors will graduate, the team will be led by current freshmen and sophomores next year, as there are no juniors on the squad.

The Bourne Canalman boys tennis team's season concluded with a 5-0 loss to Pioneer Valley in the Division 4 Sweet 16, played at Hampshire College. The team finished the season with an 11-10 overall record. This marks the second consecutive season the boys tennis team has won a state tournament game. Their 11-10 record is their best since the 2018 season (11-9). The team will return several core players, including many underclassmen and juniors who gained varsity experience this year.
