Bridgewater Planning Board Approves Site Plan for Water Treatment Plant Upgrades
The Bridgewater Township Planning Board reviewed and approved the site plan for New Jersey American Water Company's proposed improvements to their Raritan and Millstone water treatment plant. The project includes the replacement of an existing welding shop and the construction of a new storage shed to house equipment. Bridgewater Approves Subdivision of 59 Cornell Boulevard into Three Single-Family Lots
The Bridgewater Township Planning Board heard an application for the subdivision of a single-family lot at 59 Cornell Boulevard into three new single-family lots. The applicant proposed to create three conforming lots, each exceeding the minimum 10,000 sq ft requirement, with no variances needed for lot size, setbacks, or floor area ratio. The application included plans for a detention pond, retaining walls, and extensive landscaping to mitigate drainage impacts and screen neighboring properties. The board approved the preliminary and final major subdivision, subject to numerous conditions addressing stormwater management, lot coverage, landscaping, sidewalk contributions, and the maintenance of drainage features and walls.
