Planning Commission Continues Case Z24, Recommends Approval for Zoning Map Amendment in Case Z26003

The Planning Commission continued a public hearing for the annexation and zone change of property at the northwest corner of East 120th Avenue and Chambers Road (Case Z24) to the next meeting on July 7th, 2026. The applicant requested the continuance. The commission also considered Case Z26003, a zoning map amendment for two parcels at the northwest corner of 88th Avenue and Tower Road, from Adams County Agricultural 3 to Commerce City Agricultural. This amendment is a placeholder due to no proposed development. The site is approximately 732 acres and is bordered by Second Creek Farms PUD and Legato West PUD. The commission recommended approval of the zoning map amendment to the City Council.
