Duxbury Select Board Approves Engagement of DLS for Financial Policy Update
The Town of Duxbury is seeking to engage the Division of Local Services (DLS) for expert assistance in updating its financial policies. The current policies, last revised in 2018, require a refresh, and DLS offers free consulting for this purpose. The DLS has proposed a Fall 2026 timeframe for this engagement, but requires select board approval to schedule the services. The board unanimously approved the engagement to ensure community best practices are incorporated into the town's financial policies.
