Westside Drive Reconstruction Project Nears Mid-Completion with Road Reclamation Underway

The Westside Drive project is progressing with road reclamation underway, which involves pulverizing the top layer of the road and recycling it into the road base. This process is followed by regrading and fine grading of the road base. A binding coarse layer of pavement will be applied, with completion of this phase expected by the end of May. The project also includes the installation of vertical granite curb to define the road limits. Substantial completion is anticipated this year, with the final top course of pavement to be laid in the spring of 2027 after the binder course has weathered a winter season. [cite: 10-42]
