Regional Growth Boundary Sewer Service Area Expansion Discussion at Executive Committee
The executive committee discussed the regional growth boundary sewer service area expansion at Innovation Park. Each municipality was asked to discuss the request individually. A unit vote requiring at least five of the six municipalities' affirmative votes will occur at the next general forum meeting. Supervisor White noted that his concerns about non-sewer-related issues are irrelevant to the upcoming vote, as the purview is limited to sewer requirements, a point clarified by the executive director. He stated his personal stance on the matter will not be influenced by sewer considerations.
Upcoming Community Events and Calendar Items Announced
The Board of Supervisors reviewed upcoming calendar items, including a Cecil Irvine Park Community Workshop, the Ferguson Township Future Land Use Map open house and joint session with the Planning Commission, Juneteenth, the Ferguson 225th celebration, and the Kaboom Playground Build Day. The township offices will be closed on Friday, June 19th for Juneteenth.
