Temporary Chiller Rental Costs and Transformer Invoice Under Review
Invoices were presented for the rental of a temporary chiller and for a transformer powering the chiller. The rental of the temporary chiller is for the second month, costing approximately $11,000 per month for cooling the 'short court' side of the building. There is a possibility of reducing costs by utilizing the city's insurance instead of Sunbelt's insurance for the chiller. The city's boiler for heating is functioning properly. It is estimated that rent payments for the chiller may continue until September or October, depending on the resolution of a permanent solution and weather conditions. The monthly cost for cooling the building with the temporary chiller is around $11,000, excluding other utility costs. [cite: 143-232]
