Mayor Announces Multiple Community Events for June 6th

Mayor Russ Kesler announced upcoming community events for Saturday, June 6th. These include the Hazeville annual citywide cleanup from 8:00 AM to noon, allowing residents to drop off items like furniture, leaves, grass clippings, siding, construction debris, tree limbs, pallets, metal, lumber, and concrete at public works, but excluding tires, shingles, cardboard, refrigerators, freezers, batteries, mattresses, household trash, hazardous materials, and TVs/computers. Public works personnel will assist with unloading, and residents are asked to have items separated for efficiency. Additionally, Kids to Park Day will be held at Kirby Park from 10:00 AM to noon, featuring a petting zoo, face painting, and yard games. Finally, the 25th anniversary of the Hazesville Hometown Market will take place from 8:00 AM to noon on the same day. Residents are encouraged to attend all three events.
