Sandstone Middle School Celebrates Eighth Grade Graduation and Honors Student Achievements

The eighth-grade graduation ceremony celebrated the academic achievements and personal growth of the graduating class of 2030. The event included student speeches, musical performances by the choir, and the presentation of various awards for academic excellence, perfect attendance, character, and participation in specific subjects like math, science, and arts. Awards included perfect attendance, students of the month, Golden Hawk Feather Award, high school math and Spanish credit awards, GPA awards (3.5-3.99 and 4.0), subject-specific awards in band, choir, drama, science, math, PE, health, broadcasting, U.S. history, entrepreneurship, hospitality, life skills, and art. The Desert Hawk Award recognized students embodying kindness, integrity, and determination. The ceremony concluded with gift basket giveaways and closing remarks from school administration.
