The plan includes strategies for branding, alleyway enhancements, new housing and a hotel, modernizing Hail Park, improving connectivity, exploring a quiet zone at railroad crossings, and redeveloping Main Street. Public feedback was extensively incorporated throughout the process, and various stakeholders, including the Downtown Business Alliance and the Chamber of Commerce, expressed support and offered to assist in implementation.
City Approves 2026-2027 CDBG Annual Action Plan Funding Community Projects
