Lomita Welcomes New Community Resource Deputy, Introduces Existing Deputy

The City of Lomita welcomed and introduced two new Community Resource Deputies (CRDs) to the City Council and the community. These CRDs focus on community issues and special problems, distinct from the general patrol services provided by the Sheriff's Department. Deputy Jeremy Kellogg, who has served since 2018, was acknowledged, and the new CRD, Deputy Demetrius Sanchez, was introduced. Lieutenant White, the supervisor for the CRDs, was also present. The deputies expressed their commitment to serving the Lomita community, with Deputy Sanchez noting his personal connection to the city as a former student of Lomita Magnet.
