Middleton School Committee Holds Reorganization Meeting, Elects Officers and Assigns Roles

The Middleton School Committee conducted its annual reorganization meeting, electing officers for the upcoming year and assigning members to various subcommittees and liaison roles. Key positions such as Chair, Vice Chair, and Clerk were filled through nominations and roll call votes. Members also volunteered for roles including TTU representative, policy review, CPAC liaison, negotiation subcommittee, and various other liaisons (communications, school handbook, FinCom, PTO, facilities, health and wellness, safety). The meeting also covered updates on the RU project, MASC's 'Charting the Course' training, student attendance data, financial reports, principal updates, school improvement plans, the roof project, and a new policy on student restraint and timeout practices.
