North Las Vegas Utilities Team Maintains Critical Infrastructure; City Announces Summer Pool Events and Blood Drive
The City Manager's report highlighted the essential behind-the-scenes work of the utilities team, noting that in April, they exercised 511 valves (up from 418 in March) to ensure water flow and fire suppression readiness. The team also completed 42 polyethylene pipe and fire hydrant repairs. Additionally, the report announced the city's summer pool party series and expanded hours at Walker Pool, along with a Vitalent Blood Drive on June 9th.
Zoning Reclassification Proposed for 2.36 Acres on Fusilier Drive
The council introduced Ordinance Number 3277, an ordinance related to zoning. This ordinance proposes the reclassification of 2.36 acres from an RE Ranch Estates District to a PUD PID Planned Unit Development District. The property is located at 4105 Fusilier Drive and the application is ZN022026 by San Miguel Fusilier.

He mentioned that California has three teams and the Raiders moved to Las Vegas without, to his knowledge, a prior vote.
