Rules Committee Reviews Agendas, Approves Agenda Reordering and Sunshine Waiver

The Rules and Open Government Committee met and reviewed the agenda for Tuesday, June 9th, including a closed session, regular session, consent calendar items, budget messages, operating capital budgets, and a security system upgrade for the regional wastewater facility. The committee also discussed and approved a motion to move the security system upgrade item to be heard before budget deliberations. A sunshine waiver was required and approved for an item posted outside the standard window. The committee also reviewed the agenda for Tuesday, June 16th, which included sessions, budget action items, appropriation ordinances, agreements with various entities (SJPDA, ABMEI, ALP), compensation and benefit changes, and public hearings on several business improvement districts and grant agreements for interim housing sites. The consent calendar for June 16th was also approved. The meeting concluded with open forum and adjourned.
