West Memphis Mayor and Council Pledge Support for Aviation Flight School Initiative
Ms. Shaquita Mack, founder of 'Being Que' and a partner with 'Taste Aviation', presented a proposal for a Saturday Flight School at the West Memphis Municipal Airport, starting July 18, 2026. The program, aimed at providing aviation career awareness to local students, is offered free of charge thanks to volunteer instructors and the use of a donated plane. Ms. Mack requested support and funding from the Mayor and City Council. Councilman Mayor and Councilman Mirror pledged support for ten students each.
West Memphis Partners with Hyper City LLC for Strategic Energy and Infrastructure Development
