Centerville Establishes Intergovernmental Infrastructure Fund for 675 Wilmington Pike Project

The council approved Ordinance 10-26, an emergency ordinance to establish the City of Centerville Intergovernmental Infrastructure Fund. This new special revenue fund is intended to properly account for the 675 Wilmington Pike project, which has transitioned from the Montgomery County Transportation Improvement District (TID) to Centerville serving as the Local Public Agency (LPA) through the ODOT process. The fund will enable accurate recording of Construction In Progress (CIP) and all project-related activity across multiple local partners, ensuring compliance with GAAP financial statements. The emergency declaration is due to the annual report for 2025 being due at the end of the month. A purchase order encumbered to LJB for design using Congressionally Direct Spend (CDS) funds will be the first allocation to this new fund.
